To be a living being, start with loving things!

This whole logic of doing things that you love makes life worth living. Today most of us do things that we hate. We do job, we have responsibilities, college, studies, assignments, projects, official trips, etc. that we forget ourselves amid every necessity. And forget that the top necessity that is us needs to be cared about.

Not binge rather being!

Life effort should not be to be something or to achieve something but it is in being while you achieve those things. I am not against ambitions but yes I am against those who negotiate every little thing that makes them happy with their ambition.

Our ambition only gives us a sense of fulfilment and that is for some moments only. Then we get back to what our normal is. Hedonic adaptation theory states it well. That achievement gives us momentarily fulfilment and then we crave for the more challenging one.

In case you have never learned to enjoy those happy moments walking on your journey you have greatly missed the point then. Which means you can hardly ever be happy. This means happiness is a choice first of all and then it becomes our habit on the different scales from 0-10.

If I have made happiness my habit at level 8 then no matter what I achieve I will after a moment get back to my normal(8). If you have set your scale to 5 then even after having a trip to Miami, boozing whole night Pina colada beeches after beeches and being happy at level 10 for those 15 days of a trip, you will be back to level 5 once you get back in your routine, sulking your ass on the corporate chairs.

Happiness is a choice – trust me I’m lying! #judge_thuself

I understand that even this level of happiness is in itself a choice and then even that level(0-10 scale) too becomes our habit.

And this all starts now. While you are working hard for your examinations, while you are doing 9-5, while you are facing challenges in your life, relationship, business, studies, job….almost anything – just get yourself out there for a moment, for the thing that gives you happiness, that makes your soul satisfied, gives you a charming smile, relax your mind and heart.

Satisfy your soul, not society!

The point is we all know that ‘n’ thing or ‘nth’ things. It is that we just don’t give it a priority. Throughout life, we have understood the priority of only those things that give us some result, more appropriately some materialistic results – higher raise, higher grades, higher profit, more sales, more money, more return, etc. and the exact point is that we have totalitarianistically avoided the rest of the stuff that doesn’t count inside this condition-cum-circumference.

More realistically – we neglected ourselves.

But we are the ones who at first going to get every result done – man. Yes, we are the one. But we think of ourselves as some unconsumable source of this cosmos that never requires any maintenance, any PM, or any off-time.

We always say we are humans, not a robot but hardly do realize it. Even today robots need these checks to serve the appropriate life and functions. Nevertheless, we are still no robots and we can identify what gives us chill and what doesn’t.

So now here we gonna begin this art of living happily.

Know Thyself

The point is at whatever stage today I am, you might be as well but your field of experience might be different so you might be knowing yourself more than I do myself or the other way around.

The point is you either know yourself or you don’t. in the former case, you know exactly what makes you happy and what doesn’t.

In a later case, you must first start knowing yourself. This is what you can do to know yourself:

  1. Start writing a journal – especially focusing on your likes and dislike.
  2. Spend time alone and see what kind of thoughts you think when you are alone.
  3. Scale your thought on a level from 0-10 and if the scale is below 8 starts identifying the types and category and start working on them to make them better.
  4. Start meditating since this will help with point 3.
  5. Replace bad thoughts, bad affirmations, and negative self-talk.
  6. Categorize exactly what your hobbies are and start doing them more.
  7. Identify more hobbies that you do not do but wish to do and start doing them right away.
  8. Allocate daily time for these hobbies and do them anyhoo until this becomes a habit.

The point is these all things will raise your level of happiness and thoughts in a month.

Another point is to give yourself priority over all. To make yourself realize how important you are in this life for yourself, and for your soul.

Don't Give Up, You are not alone, You Matter.

Think in this way – that your soul is a different identity than you. Your soul experiences life after life and now it is your responsibility to make it feel like it is the most special soul & you are the most special person to make it feel the way this soul has never ever felt on its journey over the past billion years and after thousands of numerous identities it went thru.

This is My Mess – No shits given!

Believe me, I work 6AM-4PM and then I attend my college 6-9PM and return home 11. Meanwhile, I travel from home-company-college-home(a vicious cycle).

Late at night when I get back home the only energy that remains in my body is to eat, digest & sleep. And this happens 6 times a week.

Here the point is I am a hell lot busy in my routine but whenever I get time I never leave a chance to do things that I love to do.

I know that this time is temporary and it’s a kind of process till I reach my ambition but I am more focused on my process than the result. Because I know this process will either make me or break me irrespective of the results.

That’s why I seize every weekend, every vacation, and every moment of my life.

Still at this moment if I am sitting and writing –when I know I have several project work, research work and different assignments I need to work on, most toughest topics on thermodynamics and the theory of machines need to get stumbled on but still, I am here this evening with my laptop writing this blog because I love to. Because I love this wisdom I realized today that I must share on and pass it on to my loved ones who are one of my priorities.

I realized that time after time I have spared some time for myself to play guitar when I want, read books that I like, write in my journal, walk pep-talking to myself and have fun with my buddies, and time after time I have also accomplished all my responsibilities on time and got the top grades in my studies appearing at the top among other ambitious rivals.

I have accomplished this because I knew it is not about effort all the time but our mental well-being at the foremost which can be taken care by the wisdom I shared with you all.

Happily ever after

A happy being is a human being!

Your level of happiness and attitude already gets you 80% on top of the others.

I realized this and made it my priority thereafter.

So, know yourself, give yourself some time in solitude, make yourself your priority and start living a happy and worthy life.

I did this and I think that you can too.
